CARNIVAL 2012 (despription of a photo)

This is a photo of Carnival 2012.  In this photo, you can see a lot of people dressing up as prisoners. This picture shows you how we celebrate this festival in our town.

In the middle of the picture you can see then friends of mine looking at the camera as someone else was taking the picture. In the right part also in the left of the picture there are some parallel bars representing a cell in prison. At the back of the photo there was a wood room where we kept all the stuff, such as drinks, crips, sweets, etc.

It’s a very funny picture because it’s a celebration and all of them were having so much fun!!

I think they enjoyed the parade but at the end of the night I’m sure they were exhausted.

ITALY:)

I only have one word to describe Italy: FUN.

It has been a very stressful week, because we had to see a lot of things, but there were a lot of funny moments, smiles,...

I remember a moment, we had to take the train and we were late. We ran a lot to take the train but we arrived, it’s the important thing.

We visited Florence, Roma and the Vatican City.

I was very nervous when wehad to take the plane because I had never taken it before. It was a different feeling. But the travel was very short and I wanted to return, for me it was perfect.

But, the trip in boat there were two hours very horrible, we were very dizzy.

I remebered when we were in the first hotel and all of them exited of our rooms.  And the teachers were very angry and they said that we have to returned our rooms. 

BOOK VS. FILM

Romeo and Juliet is a classical story about two lovers and the film is a new version, and in my opinion it isn't a good film. I prefer the classical version.

In the book there are old towns and castles. The film is recorded in a city with a lot of sky scrapers and modern buildings. It's totally different from the book.

You can see in the film that the guys had guns, instead of swords.

The film had things from the book like some dialogues which are in verse. It's strange but I think that they use verse because there are important sentences.

FRIENDSHIP

My best friend is Júlia. We do silly things, we talk a lot and we walk, too. We can spend one hour walking and talking about he things that we think or happened in the past. This year we retake our friendship because last year I didn't see my friends very often. And now I know when I need it I can count on them. If they ever forget how much they really mean to me everyday I will remind, it normally chat on messenger.

I love spending my freetime with her because normally, we laugh a lot. Yesterday, we went to the cinema with Jordi, Júlia and Júlia's cousin. We saw REC 3. She took my hand because she was scared (me too). We spend the time screaming or laughing. It was confusing.

We talked a lot about the past and things that we remebered. We went to take photographs with her sister's boyfriend. The photos were very original. When she is bad she knows that you'll always have my shoulder when you cry I'll never let go, never say goodbye. And she said to me I will be there because thats what friends are suposed to do. If you ever fins yourself lost in the dark and you can't see I will be the light to guide you, sometimes all of them feel like alone and she is this light who makes me smile.

No, unfortunately wish we did. We have to learn.

No, comparate other parts of Spain no more use to english tourists. They speak better english. Some of the restaurants we beening to speak a bite you know pointy at things.

9. Have you visited other places in Catalonia/Spain? 
Barcelona, South East Coast and Madrid.

10. Which place did you like best? 
I think Roses and Barcelona. A bit different, of course.

11. Which didn't you like so much? 
I don't dislike anything. I like most things of this country.

We going right now.

Yes.

Yes. We have a buda, a hat and we bought anything for your friends.

VALENTINE'S DAY

I learnt a lot of vocabulary, like valour and rose. I think is a good activity because you have been remember a lot of words, for this crossword.

I found a little movie in this page, which says I love you in 100 languages, now I can say I love you in 5 languages approximately.

One photo which impacts me:

There are a lot of couples and they are get marriage. This image was taken in Saint Valentine's Day, in Peru, in a swimming pool. I think is an original form to get married. I like it, but I don't want get married in a swimming pool ha ha ha.

WATER FOR ELEPHANTS

I have chosen water for elephants because it’s a moving film about love. 

The film starts in the past, another time.

One boy is studying medicine and his parents died in a car accident. He doesn’t know what to do and he start to work in a circus. Then, he falls in love with beautiful woman. But she is the boss’s wife. They fight for his love and in the end her boss died, and the circus finished. They married and lived in a beautiful house and they had children.

I love it because talks about love but there is intrigue, too.

The boss’s wife love her husband but she loves the veterinary. But her husband is an alcoholic. In the end, the husband wants to kill the lovers, but the elephant helps them, and the boss died.

It’s a beautiful film about love, and I can’t stop watching it. I haven’t words to describe it. It has all I want in a film.

NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION

When the year started all the people thought in their new year's resolutions. It's an important task.

Those are my new year's resolutions: I would spent a lot of time with my friends because I spent my time working and studying.

I should focus on English. For me English is my little big problem because I know a lot grammar, but I don't understand listenings and I do a lot of mistakes when I write in English.

This isn't new year's resolutions but it's like a wish. It's grow up and mesure 1'60, but I grow up more.

Batxillerat is a thing that at the moment  I feel like nervous, because I will go a new high school and I will meet more people, but I don't know what they think about me. 

And the last one is will fall in love. One ambicious new year's resolution. But I haven’t met THE PERSON yet.

And these are my New Year's resolutions, the only bad thing is that you won't know the things that you do since the 31th of December 2012. For me is the only bad thing.

MY EXPERIENCE

I have been in horrible situations that help me to take a lesson, and most of these situations happened with my friends. The last has happened recently. Extactly it happened last Sunday.

I was with my friend all the afternoon on Sunday. I didn’t go out much with my friends and that night I wanted to meet them. We met a little moment, and the only thing that they said: -Have you got a TV antenna and a cable? 

But I dindn’t have any. And I spent the rest of the afternoon with my friend.

I called them all the evening but they didn't answer. Incredible.

Next day, one of them, told the story. They wanted me to came with my friend.

I spent all the night alone in my house and the most incredible. And I said that I'm not with anyone, but they didn't believe me. It's surprising.

My lesson, most of your friends only want your frienship for heir self-interest. Because they only met me for material things. I can't believe that there are this type of friends...

But, sometimes you have a true friend, you can have the happiest and most important moments of your life with one real friend.

A real friens is who doesn't want me for something. 

I haven't spoken to them since Sunday. Anyone has given me any explanation a part from one person. From this story the thing that I hate the most is that they gave my call because I was with another person.

ANA'S SECRET

My name is Ana, Ana Jones. I’m orphan. When I was three years old, my parents died in a traffic accident.

I’ve always been alone. Anybody knows who I’m, nobody knows my past. I’m a young girl, I don’t have family, I don’t have any friends. No one wants to be my friend, I’m always closed in my white bedroom.

But now, I’m here, in a mental hospital. I can’t forget what happened that day, it was terrible. And this is my history.  

That day I was with my two brothers in the orphanage and we were in our bedroom.

- “Strange things are happening in this orphanage”-said Gala. 

- “Yes, I agree”-said Tom.

- “I’m scared”-said Ana.

- “We have to leave this place”-said Gala.

- “Yes, we must leave”-said Ana.

- “It will be difficult but I don’t want to be here any longer”-said Gala.

- “So, we can leave this evening”-said Tom.

- “Ok, let’s do it today”-said Ana.

That evening we left the orphanage and walked through the woods. We were running when suddenly I realised was alone. I lost my brothers in the forest. It was sitting dark, and I was very scared, I shouted their names, again and again but no one heard me. I was crying, I was cold and then I lost conscience.

In the morning the sun lighted me, and I woke up. Suddenly, behind me, there were my brothers, they were dead. I screamed very loud, it was terrible and I couldn’t believe it.

Then, I was back at the orphanage and the police asked me a lot of things, I didn’t know what was happening to me but I couldn’t say anything a word, I couldn’t’ talk.

ONE DAY IN MY LIFE

 

I get up at seven o'clock. I have breakfast milk and loaf of bread. At half past seven I take the bus. At eight o'clock I start the lessons. At half past two we have lunch in the cantine on monday, on tuesday and on thursday. I finfish the lessons at half past four and I go at home by bus. On wedndesday and on friday I have lunch at home and I have a free afternoon. At five o'clock I snack and I do my homework. After, I take a shower and I have dinner. Sometimes, at night I watch TV. I love this song because it's very modern and interesting. When I listen to first time I don't stop listen this song. It's my favourite, it's my ring tone. It have rithm and the song is pop style. And normally I only listen this type songs. I love it. I discovered when  last summer I was in Raisa's house with Lluna and we saw MTV MUSIC AWARDS. Never I listen this group but now is one of my favourites.

INTELLIGENCE TEST

What does the graphic show?

The graphic shows that the types of intellgence predominate in me and I like to be on my own and with a lot of people.

I love visual and spatial and the graphic also shows it.

I don’t agree with musical, because I don’t like it much.

About linguistic, I agree because I know a lot of things but maybe I don’t enough vocabulary.

Naturalistic and kinaesthetic I don’t agree with because I don’t know much about it, and I think that I know more things about linguistic.

Wich intelligence are predominant?

The intelligences wich are predominant are: interpersonal, intrapersonal, visual and musical.

Does it coincide with your present abilities?

I agree with the first three but I don’t agree with muscial because I don’t like it.

I think that visual shows my present abilities, and maybe interpersonal and intrapersonal too. But musical, isn’t one of my abilities. And the others I think that it’s true except for linguistic because I think that I know more about kinaesthetic and naturalistic.

What did you discover with the reading?

The studies that I would like in the future are: graphic artist, interior decorator, photographer.

Yes, because I love the visual concept.

How can you contribute to society with your career?

I think that I’ll take come studies of graphic artist so that I can contribute to the society, do real publicity, not false publicity. If I do interior decorator I’ll contribute to the society by decorating beautiful rooms. And if I do photographer I’ll contibuate to show the world the most incredible and successful things.

IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING!

My challenges are getting ready for Batxillerat and of course I don't want to deceive my teachers or parents. When I finish 4th level of ESO, I want to study Graphic Dessign and Publicity and my dream is to have my own business in the future.

I'm really worried because I must get a high mark to get into a new school next year.

I'm also worried about finding a good job in the future because nowadays it's very difficult to find a good job. We are in a very competitive world. I'll try to do my best in order to achieve it.

A possible solution, and also very important, could be to study hard and getting good results.

I think that I will be able to achieve there challenges and so I'll be very satisfied.

AN ANIMLE IN ME!

Chihuahua

The chihuahua is an animal that I like a lot.
This animal is very little and it has got a big ears and big eyes.

His abilities are his intelligence his fidelity towards people.

Chihuahua is a name of Mexican State called as well. This word means a dry and sandy place.

Their charecteristics are:

They have got short hair. They are very jealous. They are originary from Mexico and they aren't afraid of other fogs. And they are very observers.

Some abilities or characteristics. I have and I could compare with this animal are its intelligence, its loyalty and they are also short like I am.
